Managing Your Activity Photos, Videos, and Guides

High-quality media makes a strong first impression and gives customers a clear idea of what to expect from your activity. Use this guide to manage your photos, videos, and PDF guides effectively on your offers.

1. Photos

We recommend uploading at least 3 high-quality photos to make your offer as appealing as possible.

Important Copyright Notice: By uploading images, you confirm that you hold the copyright to them. For further details, please refer to our Terms and conditions.

Banner and Thumbnail
The first two images you upload are automatically assigned as your Banner and Thumbnail. These are the most important images on your offer. You can edit your images at any time to change which photo is used:

  • Banner: This is the large hero image displayed at the top of your activity page. It is the first thing customers see when they open your offer, so choose a wide, high-quality photo that best represents your activity.

  • Thumbnail: This is the smaller preview image shown in search results and activity listings on the checkyeti website. It should be visually striking and clearly show what your activity is about, even at a smaller size.

Adding Photos
Click the + button to upload a new image. You can add as many photos as needed to showcase your activity.

Why might an image not be accepted?
If an image is rejected during upload, it is usually due to one of the following reasons:

  • Resolution: Very low-resolution images may be rejected, as they appear blurry on the listing. Use high-quality photos wherever possible.
  • Content mismatch: Our system automatically checks whether your uploaded images match your activity description. If a photo does not reflect your activity (for example, if it shows a different location or activity type), it will not be accepted. Make sure your images accurately represent what customers can expect.
  • Copyright: Images must be owned by you or licensed for commercial use. Stock images or screenshots from third-party websites are not permitted.

Editing or Deleting a Photo
To edit the details of an image or remove it from your activity, simply click on the photo. From there, you can update the image details or delete it entirely.

Recommended Photo Checklist:

  • Exterior shot of your boat or equipment (the one customers will actually use).
  • Key destinations (e.g., the Blue Cave, a secluded beach, a scenic bay).
  • Activity in action (e.g., snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing on deck).
  • Included services (e.g., snorkeling equipment laid out, a meal served on board).
  • Specific features (e.g., how the sun deck, water slide, or sun-protected areas look).

2. Videos

Videos are the first visuals customers see on the product page, drawing maximum attention and views. Each activity can feature one video.

Video upload is not directly available in your dashboard yet. If you would like to add a video to your activity, please reach out to our support team at change@checkyeti.com and we will be happy to assist you.

3. PDF Information Guides

You can upload additional documents to your activity, such as maps, ferry timetables, food menus, or detailed meeting point instructions. This is a great way to give customers everything they need in one place without overloading your listing page.

Important: PDF guides are not visible on the public website. They are automatically included in the booking confirmation email that customers receive as soon as they complete a booking.

You can upload separate PDFs per language so customers receive the information in their own language.
