Pricing Options: Shared & Private Activities

Setting up the right price structure is key to managing your bookings effectively. On checkyeti, you can customize your rates based on whether you offer shared or private activities.

1. Shared Activity Pricing
For standard shared activities, pricing is set per person. This means each participant pays a fixed price based on their category, such as adults, children, or toddlers.
If you need to add additional categories, like Seniors, you can do this in the Duration sub-section within the Options and prices section.

2. Private Activity Pricing
Private activities work differently from shared tours. Instead of charging per person, you set a base price that covers a defined number of participants, and optionally add a per-person surcharge for anyone beyond that limit.

2.1 Base Price

The base price applies up to a set number of participants. The cost remains the same whether there is only one person or the maximum number included in the base price.

Example:

Boat capacity: 12 people
Base price (1 to 12 participants): €1000
The price is €1000 whether there are 1 or 12 participants.

2.2 Tiered Base Pricing

In some cases, you might need to structure your base price in tiers, where each tier represents a fixed price for a specific range of participants.

Example:

Boat capacity: 12 people
- 1 to 4 participants: €400
- 5 to 8 participants: €700
- 9 to 12 participants: €1000

2.3 Base Price + Surcharge

This option allows you to set a base price for a group and then apply a per-person surcharge for any extra guests beyond that limit.

Example:

Boat capacity: 12 people
- 1 to 4 participants: €500
- 5 to 8 participants: €800
Surcharge: From the 9th participant onwards, an additional €50 per person is added.
Complete price structure:
- 1-4 participants → €500
- 5-8 participants → €800
- 9 participants → €850
- 10 participants → €900
- 11 participants → €950
- 12 participants → €1000

Pricing Flexibility Across Date Ranges
If your prices change throughout the year, such as during low and high season, you can set up multiple schedules. Each schedule covers a different date range with its own specific rates. This allows you to manage your full pricing calendar in one place without creating separate offers.
