I have been requested to complete the SCA. What is it? How does it work?

As an activity provider, you should have received a communication from checkyeti regarding this mandatory process. Below you will find all the information on what it is and how to complete it.

What is SCA?
SCA (Strong Customer Authentication) is an extra layer of security initiated by Mangopay, the payment provider used by checkyeti for all transactions.

To comply with European PSD2 regulations, Mangopay requires all activity providers to activate SCA on each of their checkyeti profiles. This ensures that only you, as the legal representative, can authorize where your payments are sent, acting as a safety lock that protects your checkyeti account from potential fraud by verifying your identity during sensitive actions.

The mandatory deadline for this procedure is February 15th, 2026. Please ensure this is completed by this date. Your money will be held securely, as we will only be able to transfer your funds when the SCA process is finished.

How to complete it?
The process is straightforward and takes no more than 5 minutes:

  1. Log into your checkyeti profile from a laptop.
  2. Navigate to the SCA enrollment field and klick "Start enrollment".
  3. Verify the prefilled email and phone number.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to receive and enter your authentication codes.

Practical Notes

  • Manager Details: You must have access to the email and phone number listed in your manager details to receive the necessary codes.
  • Legal Data: Please use the legal representative's data as indicated in your checkyeti profile for this registration.
  • Support: If this is not possible for your team and you would need to change the manager's data first, or if you encounter any technical issues, please contact our support team so we can assist you. In order for our team to help along the process, please send us a screenshot or detailed information of the error that occurred or the step you are unable to complete. Precise information is the only way to make sure our support team can assist you in the best way possible.

This small security step is essential to ensure your payments continue to be processed normally and with the highest level of safety.
