To book an activity on checkyeti, payment is made securely online through our website. The way your payment is processed depends on the type of booking.
1. Direct Booking. Some activities can be booked directly. For these bookings, the full amount is charged to your payment method immediately, and you will receive your booking confirmation right after.
2. Booking Request. Other activities require a Booking Request, which means the activity provider first needs to confirm their availability. How the payment is handled depends on your chosen payment method:
- Credit Card: When you pay by credit card, we only place a temporary hold on the funds (a pre-authorization). Your card is only charged after the activity provider confirms your booking. If your request is declined, the hold is released immediately.
- PayPal, Apple Pay, Ideal and Bancontact: If you pay using one of these payment methods, the full amount is charged when you place the request. If the activity provider is unable to accept your booking, you will automatically receive a full refund.
