Do I pay when I place a booking request?

The way you are charged for a booking request depends on your chosen payment method. Rest assured, you will only pay for a booking that the activity provider confirms.

Here’s how it works for different payment types:

Credit Card
When you book using a credit card, we only pre-authorize the amount. Your card is not charged when you make the request. We will only capture the payment after the activity provider has accepted your booking. If the request is declined, the pre-authorization is automatically cancelled.

PayPal, Apple Pay and Online Bank Transfer
If you pay with PayPal, Apple Pay or via online bank transfer, the amount is debited when you place the request. However, if the activity provider declines your booking for any reason, we will immediately and automatically issue a full refund to your account.
