Do I need a certification to go scuba diving?

A certification is not required to participate in trial dives or Discover Scuba programs. These introductory sessions allow for a one-off open water dive under the constant supervision of a trained instructor after a basic briefing and generally, being in good physical health is the only requirement. For certified dives, it is mandatory to hold an Open Water Diver license or an equivalent certification recognized by the specific activity provider.
