There are two different types of refunds, depending on when your booking is cancelled. **1. Refunds for cancellations before the activity** If your booking is cancelled before the activity takes place (either by you or by the activity provider), any eligible refund is processed **automatically**. The refund amount always follows the **cancellation policy** for your specific booking, which was included in your booking confirmation. Once processed, checkyeti will transfer the amount to your original payment method. You should receive the funds in your account within 10 business days. **Want to cancel your booking?** If your activity has not yet taken place and you wish to cancel, you can often do this yourself. Refunds after the activity (or for modifications)** If you believe you are entitled to a refund for an activity that was modified (e.g., shorter duration, fewer participants) or did not take place as planned (e.g., bad weather, minimum number of participants not reached), this request must be handled manually. Please note that all such **refund requests must be approved and confirmed by the activity provider**. Our support team will manage this process for you, but we cannot issue a refund without the provider's consent. To speed up your request, you can get approval directly from the activity provider first by using our messaging platform. As soon as the activity provider approves the refund, checkyeti will process it and transfer the amount to your original payment method.
