How does a typical surfing lesson work?
Surf lessons usually follow a clear structure that begins at the surf school with check-in and gear collection. Participants put on their wetsuits before receiving a brief theory session on safety and the basics of surfing. After moving to the beach, the instructor leads a land-based practice to master the popup and balance techniques on the sand. The remainder of the session takes place in the water, where participants catch waves under the guidance of the instructor.
