[Kayak & Canoe](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/summer-activities?hsLang=en#kayak-canoe) # Is there a weight limit for participants on a kayak or canoe tour? Weight restrictions depend entirely on the specific kayak or canoe type and the safety standards set by each activity provider. Every kayak and canoe has a **maximum load capacity** that must not be exceeded to maintain stability and prevent the craft from taking on water. Because different models vary in size and buoyancy, you must check the activity page for the specific limits of your chosen tour. Proper **weight distribution** between paddlers is also necessary to ensure the boat remains balanced and safe throughout the excursion. - [Booking](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/booking?hsLang=en#main-content) - [Making a booking](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/booking?hsLang=en#making-a-booking) - [Confirmed booking](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/booking?hsLang=en#confirmed-booking) - [Waiting for confirmation booking](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/booking?hsLang=en#waiting-for-confirmation-booking) - [Booking changes](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/booking?hsLang=en#booking-changes) - [Payment](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/payment?hsLang=en#main-content) - [Payment methods](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/payment?hsLang=en#payment-methods) - [Help during booking process](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/payment?hsLang=en#help-during-booking-process) - [Help after booking process](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/payment?hsLang=en#help-after-booking-process) - [checkyeti service fees](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/payment?hsLang=en#checkyeti-service-fees) - [Cancellation and refund](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/cancellation-and-refund?hsLang=en#main-content) - [Cancellation of an upcoming booking](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/cancellation-and-refund?hsLang=en#cancellation-of-an-upcoming-booking) - [Refund for an ongoing or completed booking](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/cancellation-and-refund?hsLang=en#refund-for-an-ongoing-or-completed-booking) - [Customer account](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/customer-account?hsLang=en) - [Gift voucher](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/gift-voucher?hsLang=en#main-content) - [Buying](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/gift-voucher?hsLang=en#buying) - [Redeeming and reusing](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/gift-voucher?hsLang=en#redeeming-and-reusing) - [Technical issues](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/technical-issues?hsLang=en#main-content) - [Website issues](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/technical-issues?hsLang=en#website-issues) - [Other issues](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/technical-issues?hsLang=en#other-issues) - [Winter activities](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/winter-activities?hsLang=en#main-content) - [Ski & snowboard lessons](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/winter-activities?hsLang=en#ski-snowboard-lessons) - [Ski rental](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/winter-activities?hsLang=en#ski-rental) - [Summer activities](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/summer-activities?hsLang=en#main-content) - [Boat Trips](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/summer-activities?hsLang=en#boat-trips) - [Boat Rental](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/summer-activities?hsLang=en#boat-rental) - [Jet ski & Water Sports](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/summer-activities?hsLang=en#jet-ski-water-sports) - [Kayak & Canoe](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/summer-activities?hsLang=en#kayak-canoe) - [Rafting](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/summer-activities?hsLang=en#rafting) - [Canyoning](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/summer-activities?hsLang=en#canyoning) - [Scuba Diving](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/summer-activities?hsLang=en#scuba-diving) - [Surfing](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/summer-activities?hsLang=en#surfing) - [Kitesurfing](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/summer-activities?hsLang=en#kitesurfing) - [Paragliding](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/summer-activities?hsLang=en#paragliding) [![checkyeti\_Logo-Y-Symbol\_rgb\_weiss](https://help.checkyeti.com/hs-fs/hubfs/checkyeti_Logo-Y-Symbol_rgb_weiss.png?width=30&height=36&name=checkyeti_Logo-Y-Symbol_rgb_weiss.png "checkyeti_Logo-Y-Symbol_rgb_weiss")](https://www.checkyeti.com/) © checkyeti 2026 - Imprint Made in Austria, Switzerland & France
