Some activities on checkyeti require the activity provider to manually confirm availability. When you book one of these activities, it is considered a booking request.
When you make a booking request using a credit card, we place a temporary hold on the funds. This is called a preauthorization. On your bank or credit card statement, this will usually appear as a pending charge.
This is not a final charge. We only use it to reserve the funds, ensuring they are available if the activity provider accepts your booking.
Here is what happens next:
- If your request is accepted: The preauthorization is completed, and the reserved amount is captured as the final payment.
- If your request is declined: The preauthorization is immediately cancelled, and no charge is made. We will release the hold on the funds, which may take your bank up to 10 business days to process and reflect in your account.
