Why do I need to update my payment details?

On rare occasions, a booking request may take a few days for the activity provider to accept. When you first book, we place a temporary hold on your card, called a pre-authorization, to reserve the funds. For security reasons, this hold automatically expires after about 7 days. If the booking is accepted after this period, you will need to re-enter your payment details to finalize it.

Don't worry, you will not be charged twice. The first pre-authorization was only a temporary hold and has already expired. Re-entering your details simply allows the final, single payment to be processed. You will only see one charge for this booking on your card statement.

Updating your payment information is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:
1. Log in to your checkyeti account.
2. Go to the Bookings section.
3. Find the relevant booking and click the Update payment details button.
4. Re-enter your card information and confirm.

Once this is done, your booking will be confirmed, and you will receive your confirmation email right away.

If you are logging into your checkyeti account for the first time, you can find instructions on how to set it up here.
