# How do I cancel my booking on checkyeti?
The easiest way to cancel your booking is through your checkyeti account. Here's how:
1. **Log in to your account**. If you need help accessing your account for the first time, please see [this article](https://help.checkyeti.com/en/customer-help/how-do-i-log-in-to-my-checkyeti-account?hsLang=en).
2. Go to the ***Bookings*** section.
3. Find the relevant booking and click ***Cancel booking***.
4. The activity's specific **cancellation policy** will now be displayed. Please review it carefully before you confirm the cancellation, as this policy determines if you are eligible for a refund.
5. **Select a reason** for the cancellation and provide a **short explanation** in the text box.
**Important**: Your booking is only officially cancelled once you have received a cancellation confirmation by email. If you don't receive it within an hour, please check your spam folder.
